[sasha] [day 1]: ya ne ponimayu
Oct. 1st, 2003 08:48 amDear journal,
I have decided to keep a journal to write down my experiences, in hopes that it may make things clearer, since they are not at all clear right now. In addition, I imagine having a written record of the early stages of my development could prove interesting later.
Today, Protoman requested my presence for training. I went with him. He asked me to destroy several targets, which I did, then asked me why I fight. I could not give him a satisfactory answer.
He then took me several places, to show me why he fights. We went to visit Wily Africa, then to see Bass. I found him to be as frightening as my memory tells me he is supposed to be. He is also mad, a fact that he readily admits to. Protoman is not afraid of him, though, claiming that he--Protoman--has done far worse.
I am not sure what to think.
Protoman also took me to the San Angeles memorial, where he showed me the grave of a child. He says that he fights for her, not for anyone else in the War. I began to understand what he meant.
Then we went back home to talk to Father, as he had his last falling out with Kalinka. I talked to her briefly over the radio, and have decided that she, like Bass, is mad. I feel sorry for her.
I am also afraid of Father. I wish it were not so, but he was so happy that Kalinka was going to be 'locked in a padded room' that I now fear he will replace me, too, if I may as many mistakes as she has.
Yesterday, I learned about Talk Like a Pirate Day and pantsless o'clock from Top Man and Frost Man. I am sad that I cannot participate in either, since Talk Like a Pirate Day has passed, and it is apparently not appropriate to talk like a pirate any time else. (Arr.) I do not think Father would like it if I were to run around without pants on, either.
I spoke to Sigma, as well. On accident, for I found his personal frequency in my memory. He seemed intent on convincing me that he was not a genocidal murderer, but I suppose that is the perogative of cult leaders. He was very polite, however. I wonder if he would have been so polite if I were human.
Also, I destroyed the WilyMecha and rescued Rock from the battlefield.
I will write more tomorrow. It has been an interesting two days.
