True Name: None, being a Realian.
Species: 400-Series silicon-based weapons-grade Realian.
Fandom: Xenosaga
Nationality: None. (Built by Vector.)
Age: 'Built' to resemble a woman in her early twenties. Actually around forty.
Height: 6'6".
Weight: 230 lb
Bloodtype: CuSi+. As it is copper/silicon based, Crucifix's blood is incompatible with that of humans.
Hair: Normally a liquid silver shot through with oily iridescence, Crucifix's hair changes colors based on what she's wearing and the dominant color of ambient light. Under sodium lamps, it shifts more toward yellow or orange; yellow sunlight shades it toward cream or gold; and so forth.
Eyes: Gold.
Weapons: Rail gun, various automatic rifles, VX 7000 AGWS.
Physical Description: Crucifix is HUGE. That is to say, she's a very large woman, but neither fat nor disgustingly built. She is a front-line combatant, and thus she was designed and built like one. She's got a muscular build, with broad shoulders, a slight bust, and slim hips. Her skin is dark, in contrast to her golden Realian eyes and pale silicate hair. In normal light, there is a hint of metallic-oily sheen to her skin; in low light, it looks almost black. This is due to the silicate base of her body proteins, and is admittedly a cosmetic conceit that I don't think the biology would support. Her skin bears no blemishes, though she does have several scars from improperly treated wounds on her back and legs. A Vector insignia is blazoned on her forehead, where a divinity mark might go. Her hair is worn long--nearly waist-length--but she keeps it braided, and binds it up tightly before entering combat. Can't do to have people pulling it.
Her usual off-duty outfit tends toward (big) baby-doll t-shirts, chunky boots, belts belts belts, and cargo pants. On duty, she favors light to medium anti-ballistic battle armor. Or, barring that, an AGWS.
Background: Crucifix's story, while a long one, is not one starred with any particular achievement. Over her forty years, she has seen a lot of action--first in interstellar warfare against other Realian soldiers, and then, after the Miltia Incident, against the Gnosis. She has fought with the same Galactic Federation unit since her activation, since rising through attrition and exceptional service from the position of a lowly ground trooper to second in command, and then division commander. She is a resident of Second Miltia when she is not on a tour of duty, having 'family' in the form of other 400-Series who live there.
Personality: As a weapons-grade Realian, Crucifix actually has several dampers on her emotional response. In battle, she tends to be cold and forthright, nearly immune to little things like 'panic' due to her emotional biases. She's a seasoned veteran, a good commander--and she knows it, and doesn't take any backtalk when it comes to working in the field. She keeps her people alive, and is not interested in their petty 'feelings' when it comes down to keeping them alive. Fortunately, most of her unit is composed of other weapons-grade Realians, so she is unused to anyone seriously protesting her sometimes brutal methods of troop discipline and order-keeping.
Anyone who's met Crucifix's battle persona might be extremely surprised by her civilian self, though. She's a real firecracker outside the field of combat; high and fast-living, poker-playing, roughhousing with the best of the boys. She enjoys a fine cigar, drinking binges, fighting, a good round of poker, and guns. Semi-automatics, automatics--anything that can spray out a whole lot of bullets at once, Cruci's in love with it. Her usual 'sidearm' is actually a massive railgun that her size and build lets her freehand, though she's been known to dislocate her shoulder on occasion trying to do stupid things with it.
Other than that, her personality is rather diffuse right now. I'll probably come up with more as I play and get a better feel for her.
Relations to the Canon Characters: Very little. She's heard of Albedo's exploits, and who hasn't, with him threatening to destroy Second Miltia, but beyond that really knows nothing other than the fact he's a U-TIC terrorist. Similarly, she knows of Gaignun Kukai and Jr., due to their involvement with the company that built her. She does not know the Matthews crew or the 'party' at all, beyond having heard of Shion as a Realian rights activist in passing.
Inspiration: Nothing in particular. Crucifix is just a cool name for a Realian.
