coronaviridaeSo I've gotten out copies of my Pygmalion Project books, based on the Kiersey temprament sorter. Recently, I've been reading the volume on the Guardian temprament out of selfish curiousity, as Abernathy tests out as an Inspector Guardian. I think, normally, he's a little too rogueish for a Guardian--he has the high ideals and the need for rules, but he has some of an Idealist in him, and a little of an Artisan's flair.
And, actually, as I read on to the section on A Doll's House, the book DOES point out that Idealists, under stress, can start fracturing into multiples. So actually, he's probably an Idealist-NF, but he ACTS a heck of a lot like an Inspector Guardian. Which makes his relationship with Feste--who is most avowedly some kind of Artisan, though I imagine that Andruw is, again, an Idealist; CEM, did you ever do a Kiersey test of either of 'em?--extreeemely interesting. Especially since Artisan-Guardian pairings are one of the big topics in the volume of PP I'm reading.

I do believe I'll pick up a set of all of the Please Understand Me/Pygmalion Project books when I get the chance. They're good for character development.

I seem to remember not doing it for them when I did it for myself, because... I couldn't answer the questions. Just didn't know what to put. u.u so I'll have to take another look at it.
These PP books sound neat. I should go get them or something. :D

Probably because taking tests like that is harder for me to do in-character. (and, like, it's Feste. 'Do I like nailing things down, or having things subject to change? Well, I *do* like hammers...')
As for Andruw -- he's an Idealist, mos' def'. I just dunno which kind. *peers at Andy* He's one of those thoughtgolems that is just... hard to analyze effectively. I need to get to know him better. u.u
