Some commentary: I'm both amazed and really pleased by this. If anything, it's a fun exercise in just writing for our characters off-MUSH, whether it's speculative fiction about a dark Videoland or just a humorous anecdote or two.

On that note, I wanted to quickly correct an assumption: this spontaneously generated itself, and 'additions' don't need to be based on "Carbon", or a dark Videoland, or even the future at all. I'm just collecting Videoland fic; there aren't any actual rules.

That in mind, on to the fiction.

Summary: Set in the near future of Videoland, VL: Prophecies is a fanfic series that follows the lives of a group of humans that've been brought from the Real World to Videoland. These humans have come to be known as Gamemasters. Of course, just like in Video Games, some of these Gamemasters are good and some are bad. Following in the footsteps of their predecessor organizations, MVP and SOB are locked in a constant struggle of power. SOB, wanting to turn Videoland into their own personal playground, has obliterated Mother Brain and long since set new goals. MVP, wanting to return Videoland to the peaceful land that it once was, continues to fight for what's right... regardless of the recent death of their guiding light, Princess Lana Keene.
